Man City defender Joleon Lescott has told The Sun of how he tried to get immediate revenge on Wayne Rooney after his wonder goal won the Manchester derby on Saturday.
Just hours after the Old Trafford clash, the England pals went head to head on FIFA 2011 on the Xbox.
Lescott, 28, said: “I just smiled at Wayne after the game but spoke to him later that evening through the Xbox.
“I just said ‘That was a great goal’ – you have to take your hat off to a goal like that. Wayne is a smashing player.
“I played FIFA with him. I’m all right but he’s better.
“And, although he beat me, I’m almost there now – I think I can almost take him!”
If you keep losing Joleon, you might want to think about benching yourself!

Ferguson tells Rooney and Berbabtov: Go and play like that away from home
Sir Alex Ferguson has told Wayne Rooney he cannot just score at Old Trafford if Manchester United are to win the title this season.
After Rooney's wonder goal secured a 2-1 win in the derby, United manager Ferguson issued a warning to Rooney and his strike partner Dimitar Berbatov.
'What we need to get out of Wayne and Berba is those performances away from home,' said Ferguson. 'They have not been as good as they have been at home. They should be dictating games. If they do, it will make a hell of a difference.'
Berbatov was left out on Saturday, only emerging as a substitute after City had equalised in the second half.
Ferguson added: 'I had to sit Dimitar down. I didn't enjoy it, to be honest. I said, "You'll play your part" and he did. He played a great role.
'I don't think I have seen a better goal at Old Trafford than the one Rooney scored.
'He hit a volley against Newcastle a few years ago with that ferocity, but in terms of execution you will never see better than that.
'I have not seen anything like it. Absolutely stunning, unbelievable.'
City manager Roberto Mancini added: 'Rooney's goal is one of the best I have seen in my life, since I was a player.'

Rooney: I owed Man Utd Fans That Goal. After scoring a stunning winner in the Manchester derby on Saturday, Wayne Rooney told Man Utd supporters: "I owe you that."
“The Manchester United fans deserve that from me,” Rooney said. “I haven’t had the best of seasons and I know how big this game is in Manchester, so I hope they enjoyed that. Now the aim is to keep scoring and help us get that title back.”

Wayne Rooney will lead United's attack from the start against Rangers, after completing a comfortable 25 minutes as substitute against Wigan on Saturday.The striker made his first appearance for more than a month when he came on for Federico Macheda in the second half, and while he didn't cap the occasion with a goal, Sir Alex Ferguson was still pleased with his star striker's return - and the crowd's reaction to him.
"That was good, it'll be pleasing for him," said the boss, referring to Rooney's mainly positive reception from the fans. "It will settle him down and help him to realise he's at the right club. It was a quiet comeback for him. He get involved in a few bits of interplay but in the main he just needed that 25 minutes or so. He'll play against Rangers on Wednesday, that's the perfect game for him to get 90 minutes."
Patrice Evra, scorer of United's first goal in the 2-0 win over Wigan, welcomed Rooney's presence in the line-up, telling MUTV: "Of course [we are glad to have Wayne back]. He is a top-class player. He is a great team-mate, and we want Wayne to be at 100 per cent to help the team."
Dimitar Berbatov could also return to the Reds' forward line against Rangers, after Sir Alex confirmed the Bulgarian's weekend absence wasn't down to injury or illness. "I just left him," said the boss. "When picking my subs today, I thought I needed to give [the bench] a different type of variety."
Sir Alex selected Macheda and Gabriel Obertan to start the Wigan game because "they deserved it. They changed the game [at Aston Villa] last week when they came on so I felt they deserved to start today."
